Spring Flowers Magdalen College
These photos are from Magdalen College Oxford University.
“At twilight, nature is not without loveliness, though perhaps its chief use is to illustrate quotations from the poets.”
– Oscar Wilde (a famous alumni of Magdalen)
I wonder if Oscar Wilde (at Magdalen in nineteenth Century) enjoyed these views. He got rusticated for turning up to the start of term too late. Perhaps living up to his own motto.
“Work is the curse of the drinking classes.”
Oscar Wilde
“The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself.”
– Oscar Wilde
I wonder if that applies to Gardening advice?

Early Spring Flowers
There’s not too much in flower at this time of the year. So any flower is an added bonus. A rare bit of spring sunshine brings these small crocus out in full bloom. My gran used to say a flower in winter is worth three in summer.
