It is easy to improve your Phlox performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips for getting good Phlox flowers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> On mature clumps of Phlox thin out any\u00c2\u00a0 congested, woody stems.<\/li>\n<li> Thinning out improves subsequent flowers and increases air flow.<\/li>\n<li> After a good rain, mulch around your Phlox to conserve moisture.<\/li>\n<li> Phlox responds to the Chelsea chop &#8211; cut some of your Phlox back by a half at the end of May.
