It grows in poor dry soil and gets no attention except for an occasional prune if it over spreads its welcome.<\/p>\n<p>If I gave it TLC like I did to my various Cystus then I may be reporting yet another fatality.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/gardening\/plants\/plant_finder\/plant_pages\/600.shtml\">BBC<\/a> recommend Osteospermum jucundum a variety with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhs.org.uk\/search?cx=003777447447802237289%3A2ezo-u2lz8e&amp;cof=FORID%3A9&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;q=osteospermum&amp;sa=SEARCH#1012\">an RHS<\/a> AGM (that is enough initials for now ed.)<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t do better than the Osteospermum website for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osteospermum.com\/index.htm\">more information.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A blaze of annual colour is available from  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awin1.com\/cread.php?awinmid=2283&amp;awinaffid=81944&amp;clickref=&amp;p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thompson-morgan.com\/plants1\/search.html?section=all&#038;search=osteospermums\"> Thompson Morgan<\/a><\/p>\n<p>See also <a href=\"https:\/\/gardenerstips.co.uk\/blog\/flowers\/african-daisy\/\">Gardeners tips <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My Osteospermum has survived through one of our coldest winters for some time.
