When the leaves are 2-5 inches\u00c2\u00a0 high, which will take four to five weeks, they&#8217;re ready to eat. Leave behind about a half-inch\u00c2\u00a0of stubble and the cotyledons 2 outer leaves on to resume growth.<\/p>\n<p>Grow in containers to stop slugs and pests. Alternatively grow in a raised bed to make cutting easier.
