Carbon dioxide is absorbed by leaves and converted using chlorophyll and water into carbohydrates or tree food. Alternatively they may have frondy fern like leaves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Notes<\/strong><br \/>\nComposted and rotted tree leaves do not have much nutritional value.
