My choice would be from Winter Pansy, Polyanthus and the Red, White or Pink <strong>double daisy shown above <a href=\"https:\/\/gardenerstips.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4371\">Bellis Perennis<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I bought some &#8216;Red Pansies&#8217; from Morrisons but they are not flowering anything like those below. Mine are so dark maroon that they are almost black. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sirwiseowl\/522911792\/\" title=\"Winter Color #3 by sirwiseowl, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/250\/522911792_7c55002acb.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Winter Color #3\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Plant now for Spring Colour<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you haven&#8217;t grown your own plants from seed buy them from a nursery where they should have been hardened off a bit.<\/li>\n<li>If buying from\u00c2\u00a0 a supermarket get them used to outside conditions and give them some protection or cover in bad weather for a few days before planting out.<\/li>\n<li>Pick a day when the ground isn&#8217;t frozen.<\/li>\n<li>If it is dry for long periods give the plants some water.
